Siemens Sensors and Communication Ltd. Dalian was set up on Oct.17th, 2006. SSCL is fully owned by SLC. The total area of SSCL is 40,000 square meters with the workshop of 7000 square meters. The production started in August 2007.
This is the second factory the division sensor & communications has been opened in China. The production is synchronized with Siemens’ other plants for this product range located in Germany, France, Canada and Denmark in terms of product portfolio, size, performance, quality and technological standard.
The focus of SSCL is as below:
1.Manufacture of industrial process instruments as fl ow meters, pressure transmitters, level
sensors and dynamic weighing products. All required test facilities are available in Dalian.
2.Purchasing department guarantee a high localization degree of all mechanical components.
3.The service center provides the support for integration, installation and maintenance.
4.The repair center in Dalian is responsible for all process instruments installed in China.
5.At the same time a training center in Dalian will services China and the whole Asia Pacifi c
Region and offer trainings in all fi elds of process instrumentation.
The R&D department develops new products for the process industry as well for the Chinese as for the world market based on latest technologies. Product Description
SITRANS P410 pressure transmitters are digital pressure transmitters with a high level of operating convenience. Technically,they are based on the SITRANS P DS III but offer an increased measuring accuracy of 0.04%. This means the SITRANS P 410 is perfectly suited for measuring tasks with increased accuracy
requirements.
The parameterization is performed using input buttons or via HART or via PROFIBUS PA or FOUNDATION Fieldbus interface.
The comprehensive functionality makes for precise adjustment of the pressure transmitter to the requirements of the plant. Operation is very simple, despite the variety of setting options.
Pressure transmitters with type of protection "Intrinsic safety" and "Explosion-proof" may be installed in hazardous areas (zone 1) or in zone 0. The transmitters are provided with an EC type examination certificate and comply with the respective harmonized European standards (ATEX).
The transmitters can be equipped with various designs of remote seals for special applications such as the measurement of highly viscous substances.
Application
SITRANS P410 pressure transmitters can be used in industrial areas with extreme chemical and mechanical loads. Electromagnetic compatibility in the range 10 kHz to 1 GHz makes the P410 suitable for locations with high electromagnetic emissions.
Pressure transmitters with type of protection "Flameproof enclosure" may be installed in hazardous areas (zone 1) or in zone 0.
Pressure transmitters with the type of protection "Intrinsic safety" for use in zone 0 may be operated with power supply units of category "ia" and "ib".
The pressure transmitter can be operated locally over 3 input buttons or programmed externally over HART or over PROFIBUS PA or FOUNDATION Fieldbus interface.
